Marva Longmore was born in London and has been writing for many years. Her take on the way society functions on this planet called Earth, politics and how we’ve become a power-hungry, selfish nation obsessed with money, the self, and less concerned with the spiritual are both funny and thought-provoking.
Marva loves music, dancing, keeping fit, and sports; she is an avid gardener and this, coupled with an intense fear of a squirrel and the many insects inhabiting her garden, is all borne out by her hilarious encounters with them in her collection of poetry on holiday in the Caribbean and short stories of London life.
Marva is currently working on short stories, poetry, a debut novel, and a film script. Her debut novel Toren Williams is due to be published in July 2014.
Here are some shorts, poetry and a story written this morning.
